Domestic water stored in tanks should be first sterilised by using a good propriety product, normally chlorine based, to kill the bacteria.

When the water is required, it is pumped through the hydropure filter, which removes any solid matter down to a specific micron size depending on your choice of filters. Carbon is the most common which is used to filter drinking water and removes most odours, including the smell of chlorine and can help to remove the taste of rubber components in the water system.

The unit is installed using the mounting bracket provided, with suitable pipe adapters (not included but available in our shop), and as close as possible to the final water outlet to avoid contamination.
